The Ezy-Awning is unlike any other - incredibly adaptable to any situation, yet very inexpensive!  It's built with VW busses and vans in mind but is equally "at home" on any SUV, minivan, or pickup. (You do own a vehicle besides your Bus, don't you? :-)  It goes up in minutes, without requiring any modifications to your vehicle, yet packs small to store under your back seat when not in use.

Attach it anywhere - to any side of any vehicle!

As shipped, the Ezy-Awning can be used on either side of a VW Bus or Vanagon, or any van with a smillarly sized rain gutter, by using the included pole that clamps inside the rain gutter. No modifications to your van are required; you just attach it when needed, and take it down and put it in the bag when you're done. The Ezy-Awning is also fully height adjustable from 4 to 7-1/2 feet, to make it adaptable to any vehicle. Plus, the two legs can be adjusted to different lengths, to compensate if you are parked on a hill or uneven surface.

Add the heavy-duty Hook-And-Loop Straps (just $6.95) and your Ezy-Awning will mount to virtually any vehicle with a roof rack (or almost anything else you can wrap a strap around) - SUV's, vans or minivans, trucks, station wagons, you name it. This is a cheap and easy way to make the Ezy-Awning work almost anywhere. Or add the heavy-duty suction cups to attach it to virtually any relatively flat smooth surface, such as your vehicle's sides, roof, or window glass. Still without any modifications to the vehicle.  This means you can use it almost anywhere...

Use it on virtually any make/model vehicle  - a Eurovan, SUV, van, minivan, or pickup truck.
Use it on the any side of the vehicle - front, rear, left, or right - anywhere with a relatively flat surface.
If you have a side tent, you can extend the awning from the back of your van while the tent is on the side
Use it as a portable carport when working on your vehicle, over the hood or rear deck lid.

We also offer a special mounting kit for owners of Eurovans with poptops, allowing use with the poptop raised. (The suction cups can be used on a non-poptop Eurovan.)

Self-Supporting Design - No need to run guy ropes and stake it down!

Because the awning  is reinforced on all four sides when assembled, it maintains its shape without the need for guy ropes (although they can be used to improve stability in wind). Each leg has a hole in the foot to accept a tent peg, allowing you to stake the leg directly into the ground.

For even more flexibility, our optional Jackpoint/Wheel Adapters let you use your Ezy-Awning on blacktop, rocky ground, or other surfaces where it can't be staked down at all. These mounts can be used two different ways. One option is simply to roll your vehicle over them, and then attach the two awning poles to them with the supplied thumbscrews, so your vehicle's own weight holds the poles down. Or if you have a Bus or Vanagon, you can simply push them into your stock jack points rather than placing them under the wheels (except on Vanagons with a plastic skirt on the sliding door).

The Ezy-Awning is made of waterproof nylon (strong yet lightweight), with strong chrome passivate coated metal poles and fiberglass center supports. The domed design, with pole support on all four sides, not only makes it structurally strong but also allows rainwater to roll off of it - preventing the sag that flat-topped awnings suffer during rain storms. It's roughly 8 feet square when installed, yet packs tiny - about 26 inches by 6 inches - in its included storage bag.

Hook-And-Loop ("Velcro" style) Strap Mounts
This is a quickest, easiest way to affix the Ezy-Awning to most SUV's, minivans, and station wagons.
If you have a vehicle with a roof rack, just wrap these heavy duty (21 lb.shear stength) hook-and-loop straps around
the vertical awning rail and the side rail of your roof rack (or any other suitable point on your vehicle). Also can be used
to attach the awning to a suitable point on your home, deck or patio - or anywhwere you can strap it to a fixed object.
Price is for 1 yard (about 1m) of heavy-duty strap, which you can cut into any number of smaller straps to suit your needs.
One yard is usually plenty for making several Awning straps. However many people order extra
to use around their camper, car, or home, since this is a very practical strap for so many things.

Eurovan Poptop Camper Strap Mounts  for use on Eurovans with Pop Tops.
If you have a Eurovan with a poptop, these allow you to use your awning or tent with the top raised. (To use an awning or tent
