Creating and Using "My Want List"

Planning a future project on your VW (or two, or three!)?  You can create shopping lists for upcoming projects as you browse our site, then save them for future reference. When you're ready for your next project, just move your Want List to the shopping cart, change it if desired, and check out your purchase.

To create a want list:

1) You must be logged in to your account to create a want list.  
     Click here to log in or to create an account.

2) Add items to your shopping cart, just as if you were making a purchase.

3) When you're done, click on the "My Shopping Cart" link to view the contents of your cart.

4) If (and only if) you are logged in, an option of "Save to want list" will appear below the shopping cart contents. (If it does not appear, log in to your account and then click on "My Shopping Cart" again.)

5) By clicking on "save to want list" instead of checking out, you can save the contents of your cart to the want list for future retrieval. You can name the want list anything you'd like. (You must name it in order to retrieve it later.) To save multiple want lists for different projects, just repeat the process and give each list a different name.

To retrieve your saved want lists:

1) You must be logged in to your account to access your want lists. Click here to log in.  

2) After you have logged in, click on the "My Want List" link on the left of any page. As long as you are logged in, that link will take you to your want lists (rather than to this page).

3) Your saved want lists will appear. Click on the one you want to modify, delete, or move to your shopping cart.
